outputs. Suitable protection devices according to the load should be envisaged on the power line: for exam-
ple, if a fuse is used, the maximum admissible value is 5A.
3.3.1 – Connecting HSTT2L to the electrical device
In the case of HSTT2L, connection to the device to be controlled must be on terminals 2-3: the device is pow-
ered directly by the receiver: see fig. 2.
3.3.2 – Connecting HSTT2N to a motor for shutters
In the case of HSTT2N, connection to the mains power of the single phase asynchronous motor is on termi-
nals 1-2-3 (Down, Common, Up): see fig. 3.
Caution! – Never connect more than one motor per control panel; if necessary use the relative relay expansion
modules.
3.3.3 – Mains power connection
The receivers are connected to the electrical mains by means of terminals 5-6 (Phase, Neutral): they can oper-
ate on voltages 120 V or 230 V and frequencies 50 or 60 Hz.
3.3.4 – Input for P/B pushbutton connection
If necessary, a pushbutton can be connected to the receiver for direct control:
- For HSTT2L = each pulse corresponds to an On – Off type command
- For HSTT2N = hold-to-run operating mode, Up – Down type command
Caution – The pushbutton is subject to mains voltage and therefore must be suitably protected and insulated.
4 - PROGRAMMING
To enable the control devices to activate the receivers HSTT2L and HSTT2N, the device codes must be mem-
orised.
4.1 – HSTT2L: device memorisation
HSTT2L features 2 types of output operating mode, according to the control device memorisation mode:
- toggle (see Table 1)
- timed (see Table 3)
Note on operation: if several devices are memorised on the receiver, the respective commands are added up
and toggle operating modes have priority over the timed modes.
