If the appliance is faulty, please return it with a short letter and the purchase receipt for inspection and
repair.

Guarantee terms

These guarantee terms shall be governed solely after purchase and use of our appliances in the Federal
Republic of Germany. Abroad, the corresponding guarantee terms are based on the contractual General
Terms of Sale and Delivery resp. on the statutory terms of guarantee of each country. Statutory warranty
rights (after performance, rescission, liability and reduction) are not affected by this guarantee. This gua-
rantee statement shall be considered as voluntary from the manufacturer.
From the date of purchase, CLAGE grants a 24 months' Guarantee period for your privately used hot water
appliance and 12 months for commercial use on condition that the Certificate of guarantee delivered with
the unit is duly completed, stamped and dated by the dealer. The latter shall be presented together with
the purchase document when claiming under guarantee. We recommend that the guarantee certificate
card be sent to CLAGE Lueneburg for registration after installation of the unit.
The guarantee does not cover damage or malfunctions due to the build-up of scale, frost, chemicals or
electromechanical process, from incorrect use, incorrect installation, dirt in the inlet and outlet pipes, non-
compliance with the operating instructions or unauthorised modification of the heater. Furthermore, the
guarantee shall not cover any normal abrasion of the appliance.
In the event of a damage/claim, we are to be informed in writing within 14 days after recognition of the
fault. After receipt, we check if a legitimate guarantee claim is justified. If notice of defects has been given
in good time and is justified, CLAGE shall decide how the damage/claim is to be rectified, either by an
authorised after-sales partner or by CLAGE central customer service.
