Reuse
Before the ORTHOSCOOT
is passed on, it has to be cleaned and disinfected. When the ORTHOSCOOT
is pas-
®
®
sed on, please make always sure that the user manual is handed over to the recipient and that the output protocol
has been signed by the patient. The respective issuing body has to ensure that the complete service and a functi-
onal test have been carried out before the device is passed on to the patient.

Maintenance schedule

Prior to each use, the user has to control the proper function of the brake system. Furthermore, it has to be cont-
rolled at regular intervals whether all components and attachment parts are tight and have no play.

Storage and operating conditions

The ORTHOSCOOT
was designed for indoor and outdoor areas. Please ensure that the ORTHOSCOOT
is
®
®
always kept in dry places and is not exposed to direct sunlight. Increased pollution is possible due to the weather
when the device is used outside. Please clean polluted parts immediately after use. Please avoid driving in the
winter as salty splashing water reacts very aggressively with all metallic components which promotes corrosion.
Disposal
In the event of disposal, please get in touch with ORTHOSCOOT® GmbH. Alternatively, the respective local waste
management companies and recycling centers will advise you.
