Steering

Steer the ORTHOSCOOT
ning the handlebar to the left, you make a turn to the
left.

Braking

By pulling the brake lever you can, as is the case with
a bicycle, brake in a controlled manner. The harder the
break lever is pulled, or the closer to the outer edge
the break lever is gripped, the stronger and more
immediate the braking power.
ATTENTION: Please note that a slippery surface (e.g.
wet roads) considerably increases the braking distan-
ce!

By turning the handlebar to the right, you make a turn
to the right. The more you turn the handlebar, the
tighter will be the curve radius.
If the turning radius should not be sufficient in order
to turn around in a narrow space, please maneuver
the vehicle.
By means of the red brake locking lever you block the
brake. For this purpose, pull the brake lever and turn
the locking lever until it snaps into place. With a little
practice, this process can easily be carried out with
one hand.
Now the vehicle is secured against any rolling away.
By again using the brake lever, the locking mechanism
is unlocked.
