fields (EMF). If handled properly and according to the instructions in this
user manual, the appliance is safe to use based on scientific evidence

preparing for use

1 When you use the humidifier for the first time, place it together with
the hygrometer/thermometer set in the room where it is going to be
used half an hour before you switch it on.
 Place the humidifier on a smooth, flat and stable surface.
- Make sure the water basin is clean and free of foreign objects.
- The recommended room temperature for babies is between 16 and
20ºC with a relative humidity between 40 and 60%.
 Check the air humidity on the hygrometer supplied. If the humidity
level drops below 40%, follow the instructions in chapter 'Using the
appliance'.

1 Make sure that the humidifier is disconnected from the mains and
that the on/off knob is set to 'off'.
 Remove the tank cover from the water tank.
 Use the handle of the water tank to lift it vertically off the base in a
straight line.
