Too replace the cover
seal
NOTE
The cover seal can generally be re-
placed when the Bus Top Premium
open, without having to move the
cover assembly, from either the
inside or the outside. In this case
steps 1 and 4 are not necessary.
1. Actuate the emergency release,
swing the cover assembly for-
wards and place it on the roof of
the bus at the rear.
2. Remove the cover seal from the
edge of the frame.

3. Press on the new cover seal
until it is positioned evenly and
completely on the edge of the
frame both inside and outside.
4. Insert the cover assembly
(see 5.4).

To insert the cover
assembly after the
emergency release
has been used
CAUTION
After the emergency release has
been used the cover assembly must
be inserted by trained personnel.
1. Lock the exterior emergency
release handle on the outside of
the cover.
2. Move the handle mechanisms at
the front and rear to the open po-
sition. Move the handles verti-
cally upwards for this purpose.
3. Ensure that the pins have been
pulled as far as possible out of
the eye supports.
4. Check that the safety cable is
correctly positioned on the
frame.
