2. Brief description
General

The Bus Top Premium ventilation
and emergency exit hatch is de-
signed to ventilate the interior of
city, holiday or long distance buses
and to act as an emergency exit in
the event of danger.
The ventilation function is operated
electrically. The following positions
of the hatch cover are defined:
•
Open at the rear
•
Open at the front
•
Open at the front and rear
•
Closed
In the event of danger the cover
assembly (1, Fig. 201) can be
opened manually and removed
from the inside using the emer-
gency release handle (2) or from
the outside using the exterior
release handle (3). The exterior
emergency release handle can be
locked electrically to prevent
burglary (option).
The Bus Top Premium ventilation
and emergency exit hatch is
available in the following basic
versions:
•
Bus Top Premium / Electric with
ventilation and emergency exit
function
•
Bus Top Premium / Emergency
exit without ventilation function
BUS TOP Premium
The following functions can be
added as options:
•
Rain sensor
(for all electric versions)
•
Lock for the exterior emergency
release handle
•
Delivery of an electric signal is
the emergency release is
opened
