Install the Suction Assembly (cont.)
¤ There is a minimum 1/4" (6 mm) per foot (30.5 cm) pitch from the pump inlet to the
suction housing.
¤ The tower mounting frame is permanently secured.

7. Solvent Weld Tubing

Solvent weld the PVC tubing connections, using care to maintain the established drainage pitch in
the lines. make sure each union connection includes the required O-ring. Securely hand tighten the
union nuts.
Solvent weld the heater pressure switch into the open tee fitting at this time.
CHECK POINT # 5.
Confirm that:
¤ All previous check point requirements have been met.
¤ The solvent welding is complete and the union nuts, with O-rings in place, have
been hand tightened.
¤ The pressure switch from the heater is solvent welded.
