Outlines are displayed several

The outlines of a second image
can be seen.
No image. You press the image
key, but nothing happens.

12. CLEANING
PLEASE NOTE! Damage to the device or malfunction due to short circuits and corrosion.
Water and detergents seeping into the device, may cause short circuits and corrosion of electronic components.

PLEASE NOTE! Damage to the surface of the device
Do not use aggressive or abrasive detergents to clean the surface.
• Clean the device with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
• Remove stubborn dirt using a pH-neutral detergent.

13. WARNINGS REGARDING INSTALLATION

• The installation should be carried out by a registered installer and in compliance with the statutory regulations.
• This user manual should be presented to the user. It should be included in the electrical installation file, and it should be passed on to any new owners. Additional
copies are available on the Niko website or via the Niko support service.
• During installation, the following should be taken into account (non-exhaustive list):
- the statutory laws, standards and regulations.
- the technology currently available at the time of installation.
- this user manual, which only states general regulations and should therefore be read within the scope of each specific installation.
- the rules of proper workmanship.

Open cables create image reflections, so-called
ghost images
Two video sources are placed over one another.
You don't receive a signal.
The conductors of the video bus are not both connected.
Thermal defect at the external camera.
The video circuit is not closed. Place the terminal resistor
on the last device on the circuit.
Remove the second video source from the circuit. If
necessary, bring them together via a video switch using
the existing bus.
Connect the monitor before the video switch and see if
you now receive a signal.
Measure the voltage between P and b. The voltage should
be approximately 24 V. Otherwise, the bus power supply
must be checked.
Check whether the plug-in terminal is establishing a
correct connection.
One of the conductors of the video bus causes a short
circuit with the P or b wire. This is causing too much
voltage to go to this location.
Please check the cabling for short circuits.
The camera is defective.
