Error / issue / malfunction
The video image is black/white.

If the green LED is flashing, new short messages were recorded:
• Press the menu key to immediately open the shot messages menu.
An exclamation mark is shown before new, unread
messages.
If the green LED is not flashing:
• Press the menu key.
• Select the short messages symbol.
• Use the navigation keys up or down, to select your message of choice.
• Confirm the selection by pressing the menu key.
You can now read the message. You will see the date and time the message was sent, as well as its
content.
• Select the short messages symbol.
• Confirm the selection by pressing the menu key. You will return to the short messages menu.
You can delete read short messages. If you have received more than 10 short messages, the oldest
message is automatically overwritten.
• Select the trash bin to delete a message. Use the navigation keys up and down.
• Confirm the selection with the menu key.
The message is removed.
Possible causes
The colour saturation of the internal unit is at its
minimum.
Sending level of the video bus is too limited.
The light intensity does not achieve the minimum value
of 10 lux. Therefore the camera is switching to black
and white.
Solutions
Adjust the contrast / the colour saturation.
The sending level can be adjusted on many elements of
the video bus.

The camera module of the external unit
is not at all light sensitive. Ensure sufficient lighting or
switch to external cameras.
