Ristretto
The same amount
of coffee as with an
espresso, but half the
quantity of water.
Doppio
Double espresso with
double quantity of cof-
fee and water.
Caffé Latte
A double espresso with
hot milk.

Lungo
The same amount
of coffee as with an
espresso, but double
quantity of water.
Macchiato
An espresso with a milk
froth dome.
Caffé Americano
An espresso filled up
with the same or double
quantity of water.
Corretto
Espresso lengthened
with a dash of alcohol,
e.g. Grappa, Amaretto,
Brandy etc.
Cappuccino
An espresso with frothy
milk.
Latte Macchiato
2/3 hot milk, 1/3 milk
froth and finally one
espresso .
