Assembly of belt drive RT890

1. Fig. 12:
Fit WIESEL linear unit and motor to the housing (8).
2. Push shaft extension (12) on to the drive spindle of the Wiesel linear unit and clamp it
securely.
3. Push the synchronizing disk (13) with the DKWN tensioner (14) on to the shaft extension
(12).
4. Push the synchronizing disk (2) with the DKWN tensioner (1) on to the motor shaft.
5. Insert the toothed belt (16).
6. Align the synchonizing disks (2 and 13) and clamp them securely.
Tghtening torques for the screws on the DKWN tensioner depending on the inner
diameter (see table in Chapter 10 "Technical specifications").
7. Insert the tension roller (5) with the eccentric axis (6) in the housing and secure with nut
(7) and washer.
8. Insert the grooved ball bearing (15) into the bearing guide in the housing (17).
9. Push the housing (17) with the grooved ball bearing (15) on to the eccentric axis (6) and
shaft extension (12) and secure with screws (18).
4.4.2

Tensioning the belt drive RT890

1. Fig. 12:
Loosen the nut (7) from the eccentric axis and tension roller by turning it anticlockwise
with 0.5 Nm using a SW8 hexagon socket wrench.
2. Tighten nut (7) again.
