GUARANTEE
For this OASE unit purchased by you, OASE GmbH as-
sumes a 36-month manufacturer's guarantee in ac-
cordance with the conditions laid down in the follow-
ing. The guarantee exists alongside the legal guarantee
obligation of the seller and does not affect this. It ap-
plies, without prejudice to mandatory statutory liabil-
ity provisions such as the product liability law, in cases
of intent and gross negligence, due to injury to life,
physical injury or damage to health by OASE GmbH or
their agents.
Duration of guarantee
The guarantee period starts with the date of the first
purchase of the OASE device from an OASE specialist
dealer. Once the guarantee has been claimed or the
OASE device has been resold, the guarantee period is
neither extended nor renewed.
Guarantee coverage
OASE GmbH guarantees impeccable, purpose-related
functionality and usability of the OASE device. Decisive
here is the state of science and technology at the time
of manufacture. The OASE device must have already
exhibited the error which caused the damage at this
point in time.
In the case of a guarantee claim, OASE GmbH reserves
the right to repair the OASE device at no cost or to sup-
ply replacement parts for the OASE device or a re-
placement device at no cost. Should the OASE device
type concerned no longer be manufactured, OASE
GmbH reserves the right, at their own discretion, to
supply a replacement device from the OASE range
which is as close as possible to the type subject to com-
plaint.
The guarantee is only valid for damage to the pur-
chased OASE device itself. The reimbursement of costs
for removal and installation and checks of damage
compensation claims for damage which has not oc-
curred to the purchased item itself, as well as requests
for compensation of loss of earnings or because of us-
age down-time as well as further claims for damages
and losses of whatever nature caused by the OASE de-
vice or its use are excluded from the guarantee.
Exclusion of guarantee
Excluded from the guarantee is damage caused by
· mechanical damage through accident, falling or im-
pact, or
· force majeure or natural catastrophes, in particular,
but not limited to flooding, fires or frost damage,
· negligent or wilful destruction (for example by cut-
ting the connector or shortening the power cable),
or
· misuse, improper or unintended use, installation
and operating errors or insufficient care (for exam-
ple using unsuitable cleaning agents, omitted servic-
ing, limescale), overloading or not observing the
user information/instructions for use,

· made worse by the user's own repair efforts, as well
as damage to
· wearing parts such as light sources,
· breakable parts such as glass, bulbs, and
· consumable materials such as batteries or filters.
With regard to proper use, OASE GmbH refers to the
instructions for use which are part of this guarantee.
Assertion of claims
Claims under the guarantee can only be made to OASE
GmbH, Tecklenburger Straße 161, 48477 Hörstel, Ger-
many, within the valid guarantee period. For this, the
claimant shall send the device or device part which is
the subject of the claim, assuming both the shipping
costs and the transportation risk, accompanied by a
copy of the original purchase receipt from the OASE
specialist dealer, this guarantee document and written
information of the fault encountered.
General regulations
This guarantee is governed by German law under the
exclusion of the agreement of the United Nations cov-
ering contracts governing the international sale of
goods (CISG) regulations.
