Resetting the network settings
All network settings of the EAC Aquarium Controller
can be completely reset.
· WIFI connection data is deleted.
· The device password is deleted.
· EAC Aquarium Controller starts in access point
mode. (→ Establishing a direct WIFI connection be-
tween the EAC aquarium controller and the
smartphone/tablet )
How to proceed:
5 A
1. On the EAC Aquarium Controller , keep the reset
button pressed for approx. 5 seconds until the
green LED flashes.
2. Release the button.
– The green LED goes out and the yellow LED is
switched on for approx. 5 seconds. The yellow
LED goes out and the green LED is switched on.
– Network settings have now been reset.
ADDING A NEW DEVICE / DEVICE
PASSWORD
If the network connection is established, the EAC
Aquarium Controller can be added in the OASE app.
Here, the device password is set up which protects the
device from third-party access and which is required
for administration.
Prerequisite:
· Smartphone/tablet and EAC Aquarium Controller
are connected with each other via WIFI.
(→ Connecting to the WLAN router via WPS)
(→ Establishing a direct WIFI connection between the
EAC aquarium controller and the smartphone/tablet )
How to proceed:
1. Open the OASE app.
– The app automatically selects the language used
by the operating system. English is configured for
languages which are not supported.
2. In the app, use the + symbol to add the EAC Aquar-
ium Controller to the list of managed controllers.
– Looking for devices can take some time.
– All detected controllers are displayed.
3. Select the desired EAC Aquarium Controller, con-
firm and begin the installation.
– The device can be identified by its serial number
(see sticker on the EAC Aquarium Controller).
4. Follow the instructions on the screen.
– A device password must be assigned during the
installation. Remember the device password as it
is also required for further administration of the
device.

CLOUD
The EAC Aquarium Controller can be controlled out-
side of the home network via the OASE web portal us-
ing the Cloudfunction. The device is activated via the
OASE app.
Prerequisite:
· The smartphone/tablet and EAC Aquarium Control-
ler are connected via the WIFI network of the WIFI
router
· The WIFI router is connected to the internet.
Mobile data traffic with the OASE cloud can lead to ad-
ditional costs due to third-party online services.
How to proceed:
1. Open the OASE app.
2. In the app, open the EAC Aquarium Controller (un-
der "My Controller") and call up "Settings".
3. Activate the cloud function under "Router".
4. Switch to a web browser and enter the address
https://oec.oase-livingwater.com
OASE web portal.
5. Log into the OASE web portal.
– For the login it is necessary to register once be-
forehand.
6. Add the EAC Aquarium Controller to the OASE web
portal.
– The device serial number and device password
are required.
– The device serial number can be displayed in the
OASE app via the "Info" section.
7. Check the connection status of the EAC Aquarium
Controller to the cloud in the app under "Cloud".
– It may take several minutes to establish a connec-
tion, depending on the internet connection.
