This chapter describes how to prepare the Pacojet Coupe Set before you use it for the first
time.
6.1

Unpacking the Pacojet Coupe Set

Unpack the Pacojet Coupe Set. If necessary, remove additional packaging material as well as
the adhesive strips and protective films.
Checking the scope of delivery

Check the contents of the packaging to make sure all parts are complete and in a good condi-
tion (see Chapter "4. Scope of delivery" on page 27).
If you notice any defects or missing accessory parts, please contact your PACOJET sales point
or your official PACOJET service partner immediately (see Chapter "11. Customer service" on
page 42).
Caution
Risk of injury due to unpacking the Pacojet Coupe Set incorrectly!
• The 2- and 4-blade knives (1, 2) of the Pacojet Coupe Set are very
sharp.
• Carefully unpack the components of the Pacojet Coupe Set.
• Handle the blade component with your fingers only in the upper
area of the blade head (6).
• Never grasp blades of the Pacojet Coupe Set knife.
Store the specific packaging material (cardboard and Styrofoam inserts)
for transport, storage and possible return.
Caution
Risk of injury due to defective accessory parts!
• Always check the Pacojet Coupe Set for damage before each
use.
• Never use the components of the Pacojet Coupe Set if they are
damaged.
• Replace faulty components of the Pacojet Coupe Set.
