The internal battery is
empty.

The volume is set to

Remedy
Charge the internal
battery (see section
Charging the internal
battery).
Press and hold the
q
button for about
2 seconds to turn the
speaker on.
Set the desired volume
using the button
If necessary, increase
the volume on the
playback
