2. Install the supplied hose onto the flare nut nipple on the fuel regulator,
located on the RH inner side of the pedestal (Fig.8). DO NOT USE
SEALANT of any kind. Tighten using a ¾" open end wrench or a crescent
wrench. Hold the regulator nut with a second wrench while tightening.
3. A female quick release is included with the grill. Install it onto the homeowner's

system) (Fig. 9) or 7" WC NG connection (Fig 10). The gas safety shut-off valve should
be in an easy to access location (see Fig.11) NOTE; pipe dope or Gas Rated Teflon tape
must be used to seal the threads at this connection.
4. To connect quick connect, push back sleeve of socket, insert plug release sleeve. Push
plug until sleeve snaps forward, locking plug in socket. This turns the gas ON
automatically. To disconnect, push sleeve back and pull out plug. This automatically
turns OFF the gas (Fig.12).
5. Check supply pressure to ensure that incoming pressure to the inlet side of the 4" WC
Regulator on the NG appliance is no higher than 7" Water Column.
6. Use a soapy water solution to check all connections for leaks before lighting grill. If a leak
found DO NOT use the grill. Turn gas off and call a professional gas fitter to repair the
