WARNING:
To operate on steel rims, and on certain alloy rims

which have a very sharp edge, you will also need to
use the plastic protection shown in Figure 5.4.6.
This must be locked in position by the manual bead
presser in order to be strongly secured to the rim, to
avoid damaging the bead during the fi nal phase of the
mounting procedure, when it is inserted defi nitively into
its housing on the rim (A, Figure 5.4.6).
Complete the mounting phase as described in the
USER'S MANUAL for standard wheels.
Infl ate the tyre to get a good beading and unload the
wheel as described in the relevant paragraph.
