Use the hexagon screws (32), washers (35),
spring washers (36) and nuts (38) to screw
the chassis (21) to the rear legs.
Caution! Select a distance for the tires relative
to the ground using the oval hole in the chas-
sis (21) which ensures that the machine does
not have to be lifted too high when transpor-
ted by the user
Fit the short guide rail for the parallel stop
(28) to the front of the saw table (1) (see Fig.
4e); and the long guide rail for the cross stop
(41) to the left side of the saw table (1) (see
Fig. 4f).
To do so, first fasten the screw (32), washer
(35), spring washer (36) and nut (38) loosely
in the two holes in the saw table. The head of
the screw must be on the outside of the saw
table (1) without a washer.
Now slide the guide rail (28) with the groove
over the two screw heads as shown in Fig. 4g
until the right end of the guide rail (28) is flush
with the right side of the saw table (1).
Fit the long guide rail for the cross stop (41)
in the same way as the guide rail for the par-
allel stop. The guide rail (41) should be in the
middle of the saw table (1).
Then tighten all the loose screw connections.
Important! Select a height for the guide rails
which ensures that:
they are parallel to the saw table,
the parallel stop (7) is not blocked by the saw
table (1) when pushed,
but that the gap between the guide rail and
parallel stop (7) is not too large.
6.3 Fitting/removing the table insert (Fig. 6)
To prevent increased likelihood of injury, the
table insert should be changed whenever it is
worn or damaged.
Take off the saw blade guard (2) (6.5).
Remove the countersunk head screw (17).
Take out the worn table insert (6).
To fit the replacement table insert, proceed in
reverse order.
6.4 Fitting/removing the splitter (Figs. 7-9)
Danger! Pull out the power plug.
Set the blade (4) to max. cutting depth, move
to 0° position and lock in place.
Remove the saw blade guard (see 6.5).
Take out the table insert (6) (see 6.3).
Slacken the fixing screw (19). Important! Sla-
cken the fastening screw (19) only as far as
necessary until the gap (14) is approx. 5 mm.
The fastening screw (19) does not have to be

removed to fit the splitter (5).
Insert the splitter (5) into the gap (14). Make
sure that the splitter has been fitted straight
and not wobbly.
The splitter (5) must be positioned in the cen-
ter along an imaginary line extending behind
the saw blade (4), so that it is not possible for
the material to get jammed.
The distance between the blade (4) and the
splitter (5) should be 3-8 mm.
Retighten the fastening screw (19) and fit the
table insert (6) and saw blade guard (2).
The splitter (5) must not be set to a depth of
more than 2 mm relative to the saw blade in
the vertical direction.
To dismantle, proceed in reverse order.
6.5 Fitting/removing the saw blade guard
(Figs. 1, 5)
Mount the saw blade guard (2) on the splitter
(5) so that the screw fits through the hole (18)
in the splitter.
Do not tighten the screw (15) and locking grip
(48) too far – the saw blade guard must be
able to move freely.
To dismantle, proceed in reverse order.
Warning! The saw blade guard (2) must al-
ways be lowered over the workpiece before
you begin to cut.
6.6 Fitting/changing the saw blade
(Figs. 10/11)
Before changing the saw blade: Pull out the
power plug!
Wear work gloves to prevent injury when
changing the saw blade.
Set the blade (4) to max. cutting depth, move
to 0° position and lock in place.
Remove the saw blade guard (2), table insert
(6) and splitter (5) (see 6.5, 6.3, 6.4).
Place the face spanner (33) on the saw blade
flange (40) to apply counter-pressure and
undo the screw with the ring wrench (37).
Caution! Turn the screw in the direction of ro-
tation of the saw blade.
Take off the outer flange and pull the old saw
blade (4) off the inner flange.
Clean the blade flange thoroughly before fit-
ting the new blade.
Mount and fasten the new saw blade in rever-
se order.
Caution! Note the running direction. The cut-
ting angle of the teeth must point in running
direction, i.e. forwards (see the arrow on the
