Use and maintenance manual
The general conditions below are just an example. The manufacturer will have to adapt them according
to his needs.
WARRANTY AND RESPONSIBILITIES - CUSTOMER COPY
On receipt of the goods, the customer must immediately check their quantity, the condition of the packaging
and that they match the details given on the shipping documentation etc. At the same time, they must note any
missing parts, defects, damage or other claims or they shall have no future recourse in this regard.
The warranty operates as specified by law. In any event, the supplier shall never be held responsible for losses,
damages, costs or personal injury due to improper use of the products, particularly considering the sales
information and other communications supplied, even when this is in the form of instructions for the conservation,
storage, installation and usage.
Any damage not identified upon delivery must be notified to the supplier in writing within the timeframes set out
by law, and in any event before installation. Before installation, the Customer or installer is, indeed, responsible
for checking all
product components and their operation. In the event of any dispute, the supplier must be authorised to proceed
with appropriate checks on-site. In the event of defects or other issues recognised by the supplier, the customer
shall be limited to the right of replacement of the product component or item without any repayment of expenses,
including expenses borne by the customer for the replacement of products already in use, labour costs, shipping
etc.
Non-consumer customers shall have no right of recourse towards the Supplier. The warranty shall not apply in
the following cases: - if the defect is ascribable to a failure to follow the instructions, technical and maintenance
requirements and information provided by the Supplier; - if defects are ascribable or either wasattributable to
installation performed by a non-professional or unauthorised installer; -if work has been performed on the product
by unauthorised personnel; - problems or damage deriving from unforeseeable, accidental or exceptional events
(unusual rain; storm-force winds; tornadoes, etc.); - damages or changes in the colour of the fabric or other
