WARNING!
The machine must not be operated in explosive environments.
Once the packing material has been removed, check the machine visually for any signs of damage.
Keep the packing materials out of the reach of children as they can be a source of danger.
N.B.: Keep the packing for possible future transport.
EQUIPMENT HOLDER RUNGS
Insert the rungs (1, Fig. E) by pushing them down firmly onto the fixing points on
the upright section (at the point marked by the arrow in Fig. E).
HORIZONTAL LEVER
1- Remove the cover (1, Fig. F) from the control console by remove the 6 self-
tapping screws (2, Fig. F).
2- Screw the lever (3, Fig. F) onto the control valve (4, Fig. F) into the tapped hole.
Lock with the locknut (5, Fig. F).
3- Replace the cover (1, Fig. F).

6.4 WORKPLACE REQUIREMENTS

Figure G highlights the overall dimensions of the TTC 500.
Figure G/1 shows the minimum distance from the walls, with provision for loading
the wheel from the front.
Figure G/2 shows the minimum distance from the walls, with provision for loading
the wheel from the back.
CAUTION! These measurements are also the tyre changer working range. Persons
other than specially trained and authorised operators are expressly forbidden
to enter this area.
Position the tyre changer following the instructions given in the section on "MOVING
THE MACHINE" of this manual.
It is not essential to anchor the machine to the floor but it is important that the
floor is firm, flat and even. If you wish to anchor the tyre changer to the floor (par-
ticularly for installation on a mobile assistance vehicle), use the four holes drilled
specially for this purpose in the sides of the base.
