manual we will explain the functions and the handling of our
device. Please take your time to read through the manual
and follow all safety and operational instructions in order to
achieve best results. If you have suggestions or questions
about this product please contact your dealer or our service

wish you success with the use of this device.
1. Designated Use
The Insect Killer 25m² is designed to attract and kill mos-
quitoes and other flight insects. The insects are attracted by
the UV-light and then electrocuted by the high voltage grid.
Any other use as the mentioned is not permitted! No liabili-
ties will be taken for damages or consequential damages or
claims resulting out of not reading and/or not following the
user guide and/or any form of modification on or in the pro-
duct. Under these circumstances, no warranty services will be
granted.
2. I nformation on the operation and application
Mosquitoes are nocturnal insects; they come out at dusk and
are always attracted by light. But they are also attracted by
the smell and breath of humans. You should therefore try
catching them before you use the room in question. For a
higher success rate you should consider the following points:
• Hang or place the device in the darkest possible area of the
room.
• Never hang or place it near food or areas where food is pro-
cessed.
• Close windows and doors, and make sure that the device is
not hung or standing in the draught.
• Put the lamp into operation at dusk approx. 1 - 1.5 hours
before using the room. The mosquitoes will find their way
to the light faster without a distraction.
• When you need to use the room, put the lamp outside the
room. This will lure the mosquitoes out of the room.
Make sure that the environmental laws of your country for the
use of insect killers are followed. For environmental reasons,

the outdoor use is prohibited in Germany as beneficial insects
(such as bees) could be killed. Outdoor use is not allowed.
Note: the response of each insect to our insect killer may
vary. The development of our devices, methods and applica-
tion tips are based on experience, testing and feedback from
our customers. The function of attracting flying insects only
applies to insects that react to light.
3. Safety Instructions
• Electrical appliances, packaging materials, etc. do not be-
long in the hands of children. Children may not play the
device.
• The device may only be used with the stated voltage:
220 – 240 V AC / 50Hz
• It must be determined if the device is suitable for the res-
pective use.
• The device may only be used by children over eight years
and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental ca-
pabilities, or the lack of knowledge or experience, if they
are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of
the device by a person responsible for their safety and have
understood the dangers resulting out of the use.
• Keep these instructions in a safe place and pass them on
when giving the device to a third person.
• This unit is suitable for indoor use only.
• The device must be protected from dampness, extreme
cold and heat.
• Do not use this device in the vicinity of explosive gases,
vapours or excessive dust. Make sure that the device is not
used in the near vicinity of inflammable materials.
• Do not remove any stickers from this device. The sticker
may contain important safety information.
• Do not use the device if the device or the power cord is da-
maged. Disconnect the device immediately from the mains
by pulling the plug from the socket. In order to avoid a ha-
zard or electrocution, the device should be repaired by our
service centre or a similarly qualified person.
Attention! Not suitable for use in barn, stables
and similar locations (Fire danger)!
