Fitting the appliance door
Grip the oven door on either side with both hands.

Slide the hinges into the slots in the oven (a).

The notch below the hinges must engage into

3Trouble shooting

Faults often have simple explanations. Refer to the table
T r o u b l e s h o o t i n g
before calling the after-sales service, as you may be
able to remedy the fault yourself.

Incorrect repairs may cause serious hazards. Repairs to the appliance must only be carried out by a qualified
technician. If repairs are required, contact the after-sales service.

Fault table

Fault
The appliance is not working.
Zeros are flashing in the display.
The oven light has failed.
The gas burner will not ignite.
The flame (oven) does not burn through all
outlet openings.
All dishes that are cooked in the oven burn
within an extremely short period of time.
The door panel steams up when the oven is
hot.
The oven switches off.
Possible cause
The circuit breaker is faulty
Power cut
Power cut
Faulty oven light
Power cut or damp ignition plugs
Normal build-up of dirt
Faulty thermostat
Normal occurrence; caused by the difference in
temperature
The gas pressure is too high

Lower the door downwards.

Remove the locking pins.

Do not reach into the hinge if the oven door falls out
unintentionally or a hinge snaps closed. Call after-sales
service.

Warning – Risk of injury!
The door may not close properly if the door hinges have
not engaged correctly. This will allow heat to escape
and the parts of the appliance may become very hot. To
prevent this from happening, remove the door again.
Then refit the door as shown in the drawing, making
sure that the groove on the underside of the hinges
engages in the oven frame.
Remedy/information
Look in the fuse box and check that the circuit
breaker is in working order.
Check whether the kitchen light works.
Reset the time.
Change the oven light bulb. (See section "Replacing
the oven light")
Light the gas burner with a gas lighter or a match.
Do not operate the oven without power.
The burner must be cleaned by a professional.
Call the after-sales service.
Not possible; this has no effect on oven perfor-
mance.
Check whether the correct pressure regulator is
being used.
Check the oven's power supply.
