6.2 Performing the registration

6.2.1 Mounting the transferbow
The patient should be in an upright position. Now, connect
the UTS CAD with the bite fork (2) or the centric tray. For
that purpose, slide the bite fork (2) or the centric tray onto
the bite fork & centric tray adapter (3) and secure the
components with the bite fork fixation screw (10).
6.2.2 Aligning the transferbow with CE
The joint can be unlocked by loosening the CE screw (7) at
the clasp (14). Align the lateral arms of the basic bow (1)
parallel to CP. If the line alignment is correct, tighten the CE
screw (7). This position is now secured.
6.2.3 Aligning the transferbow with the BP line
The joint can be unlocked by loosening the BP screw (4) at
the clasp (14). Now, align the front side of the basic bow (1)
parallel to the BP plane. After alignment, the joint can again
be locked with the BP screw (4).
