4 Installation and Initial Start-Up

4.1 Unpacking and checking the contents

Please make sure that the contents are complete.
1 UTS CAD basic bow, complete
1 3D bite fork
1 Operating Instructions
4.2 Assembly and initial start-up
The UTS CAD is supplied preassembled.
You only have to mount the bite fork (2) at the bite fork &
centric tray adapter (3) and secure the bite fork fixation with
the screw (10).
Please make sure that the bite fork (2) is correctly slid into
the bite fork adapter (3) until it stops and that it is flush.
Only then is it ensured that the bite fork & centric tray (2)
can be safely and correctly secured at the bite fork & centric
tray adapter (3).

5 Handling, Operation

5.1 Fixture to determine the CE angle value

The joint can be unlocked by loosening the CE screw (7) at
the clasp (14). Then the joint can be freely swivelled. After
adjustment, the joint can again be locked with the CE screw
(7).

5.2 Fixture to determine the BP angle value

The joint can be unlocked by loosening the BP screw (4) at
the clasp (14). Then the joint can be freely swivelled. After
adjustment, the joint can again be locked with the BP screw
(4).
