5 Winter Lay-up

1 Cooling System
In order to prevent damage by freezing and
prevent corrosion the cooling system must
be filled with an antifreeze/water mixture (or
a suitable coolant) during the winter months.
See page 37 for the specifications.
N.B. Replacement of the cooling liquid is only
necessary if the cooling liquid present in the
cooling system does not provide sufficient
protection for the winter period.
2 The electrical system
Disconnect the battery cables (remove the
negative (-) earth cable first).

3 Charging the batteries
Charge the batteries, as necessary, regularly
throughout the winter period!
