1. NOTES • GUIDELINES

1.1. SAFETY NOTES

• Take notice of the legislation and provisions to be applied in dealing with hazardous materials.
• Only use the recirculating air filter system in a proper condition.
• Observe all notes in these instructions.
• Follow the instructions of the safety specialists, technical monitoring services (BG, GAA, phar-
maceutics councils), construction supervision etc.
• Observe accident prevention regulations and workplaces ordinances.
• The filter cannot be washed out. It must always be replaced.
• Protect yourself when changing the filter by wearing personal protective equipment (e.g. safety
goggles, respiratory protection, safety gloves etc.).
• Change the filter in a safe place (e.g. hazardous material workplace etc.)..

1.2. GENERAL NOTES

These operating instructions are for practical use and should be available to the user where the
recirculating air filter system is to be used. Keep these operating instructions best of all next to
the filter attachment. An assured, faultless functioning of the recirculating air filter system is only
ensured when these instructions are followed.
CAUTION:
The recirculating air filter system is only to be repaired by specialists trained for this very purpose.
Given damage the appliance is to be repaired or replaced by the manufacturer. Since the filter is
contaminated with pollutants, it is to be replaced only by the manufacturer's trained personnel or
authorised persons.
After replacement, the contaminated active carbon filter must be properly disposed of or submit-
ted for recycling.

CAUTION:
The filter must be disposed of properly or taken to an o cial recycling collection point.
Returned filters will be disposed of by the manufacturer. Once the filter, centring pieces
and sealing cords have been fitted, RESET the filter saturation monitor.
3. RESET THE FILTER SATURATION MONITOR IN THE UFA.20.30+
CAUTION:
The filter saturation monitor must be reset after each filter change
