1.1. GENERAL SAFETY NOTES

• Take notice of the legislation and provisions to be applied in dealing with hazardous materials.
• Only use the extraction air inlet on the top in a proper condition.
• Take note of all information in these operating instructions.
• Follow the instructions of the safety specialists, technical monitoring services (BG, GAA, phar-
maceutics councils), construction supervision etc.
• Observe accident prevention regulations and workplaces ordinances.
• Regularly examine the extraction air inlet on the top as to proper functioning (check on the LED
displays for extraction air volumetric flow and filter saturation).

1.2. GUARANTEE

The guarantee for this product is agreed between you (the customer) and your dealer (the seller).
Independently of this, the manufacturer provides a guarantee for the extraction air inlet on the top
for 24 months after the date of sale. This device is classified as safety-relevant equipment and
must be checked at least every year, or at shorter intervals depending on load. Inspections and filter
changes must be carried out by specialised sta authorised by the manufacturer, using original spare
parts from the manufacturer. If this inspection is not carried, or not carried out by specialised sta
authorised by the manufacturer, the customer's guarantee claims against the manufacturer will be
invalidated.

1.3. INTENDED APPLICATION

The purpose of the appliance is to ventilate from ex-zone 2 or the non ex-zone of cabinets.
The extraction air inlet on the top is especially quiet and thus ideal for using in the immediate
working environment. Suitable for cabinet models S-CLASSIC-90 / S-PEGASUS-90 (formerly
VBF/T/A.196.120/90/60/6.7 and VBF.129.120/60), Q-LINE (formerly VBF.195.120/.90/.60)
together with attachment adapter HF.A.15776: XL-LINE drum cabinets (formerly
VBF.221.108/.153) and S-CLASSIC-30 (formerly VBF.197.xxx).
