1. For your safety

1.1 General
These safety regulations must
be observed when working with
the machine.
Read the entire instruction
manual before using the
machine for the first time. Keep
the instruction manual in a safe
place for future reference.
Please also observe the instruction
manual for the ride-on mower – particularly
the safety instructions in the "For your
safety" section.
This instruction manual supplements the
instruction manual for the ride-on mower.

Caution – risk of injury!
The mowing deck AMS 127 can only be
installed instead of the original mowing
deck on the following VIKING ride-on
mowers:
MT 6112.0 ZL, MT 6127.0 ZL,
MT 6127.0 KL
A ride-on mower with the mowing deck
AMS 127 installed is intended for mowing
lawns; its use for other purposes is not
permitted.
Modifications or adaptations to the mowing
deck AMS 127 are not permitted.
Any modifications will furthermore result in
voiding of the warranty cover.

1.2 Clothing and equipment

Always wear sturdy gloves and
tie up and secure long hair
(headscarf, cap, etc.) during
installation, during maintenance
and cleaning work or when transporting
the machine.
1.3 Transport
The mowing deck AMS 127 must only be
transported in normal position (mowing
blades downwards). Secure against
slipping on a load floor using suitable
fastening materials.
In particular observe the instructions
regarding transport in the instruction
manual for the ride-on mower.
Printed on chlorine-free bleached paper. Paper is recyclable. Cover is halogen free.
1.4 Maintenance
The mowing deck AMS 127 is equipped
with synchronous mowing blades.
Additional maintenance operations on the
toothed belt and the mowing blades must
be carried out. ( 7.)
2. Assembly
Avoid damage to the machine!
The assembly work described
requires expert knowledge and
detailed information about the
design of the ride-on mower.
VIKING therefore recommends
having the assembly carried out by
a VIKING specialist dealer, since in
particular they have knowledge of
the respective spare parts lists and
repair sequences.
2.1 Installing mowing deck AMS 127
● Park the ride-on mower on level and
solid ground.
Stop the engine, remove the ignition
key and engage the parking brake.
● Check the scope of delivery
before assembly.
