The required set of parameters has to be adjusted for a specific press and a specific
belt. Wrong parameters can result in poor splice. A belt with poor splice cannot be
used save.
The unit is designed according to latest standards of electromagnetic compatibility
(EMC). Nevertheless, in rare circumstances, the unit can disturb other electronic
equipment or other electronic equipment can disturb the unit.
Clean only with dry cloth. Do not use water or cleaning agent.

1.6 Danger of electric shock

Operational safety is no longer guaranteed if the unit is modified or altered.
Only an authorised service technician may open the unit.
Always unplug the unit from mains before connecting or disconnecting any
equipment!
The outputs for the heating platens (plug number 2 & 3 for Element) show a small
leakage current if the instrument is connected to mains, even though the outputs
are disabled by the instrument. Dangerous voltage is present at the output-sockets
any time the instrument is plugged to mains! Never plug the unit to mains with
unconnected outputs for heating platens. Never touch the pins of an unplugged
output-jack.
Repair of the unit is only allowed by BEHAbelt repair service.

1.7 Transport and storing

Please keep the original packaging for reshipment. Damages in transit are not covered by
warranty.
The unit must be stored in closed and dry area. Handle the unit with care during
transportation to avoid any damage. Store the unit outside the reach of unauthorized
persons, e.g. children.
If the unit is moved at extreme temperatures, a recovery time of at least 2 hours
must be observed.
If the unit is moved within big temperature differences the unit has to be left
at leas 2 hours for acclimatization before connected to the grid.
