5. OPERATION

LX CLAW helps you to push back a dashboard, car roof or B-posts which have

been pushed into the passenger compartment during a collision�
The set can be used for cars and trucks�

Either the LX CLAW L or the LX CLAW S can be used, depending on the space
available�

5.1 Pushing back the dashboard

Position the hydraulic rescue ram between the two front seats�

Place one of the two claws on the dashboard�
Place the other claw on the back rest of the rear seat� If the range is more limited,

you can also place the claw in the rear footwell beneath the seat� When doing so,
da consider the space available and arrange the large and small claws accordingly�
Extend the cylinder until the claws come into contact with the LX CLAW's central

support bar� Make sure that you position the cylinder as horizontally as possible to
ensure optimum force�

ATTENTION!
The pushing operation should only be continued until the angle
between the cylinder's piston rod and the LX CLAW is less than
45°� Otherwise, there is a risk of damaging the piston as well as
a risk of slipping�
ATTENTION!
Only the central rod should be used as a support surface�
