Hazardous zones are areas in which explosive atmospheres may develop under certain conditions.
The user is required, under their own responsibility, to carry out the classification of hazardous zones as
indicated in ITALIAN LEGISLATIVE DECREE (19 May 2016, no. 85)
The EN 1127-1 provides the criteria for the classification of hazardous zones in relation to the chemical nature,
physical characteristics and quality of the substances used, based on the frequency and period of time in which
the occurrence of an explosive mixture may arise.
