6) WARNING
• Follow the manufacturer's instructions at all times.
• Ensure that the correct sequence is followed during opening and folding of the cot.
• Do not leave children unattended.
• Do not place or leave any items such as toys that could provide foothold to enable a child
to climb out of the cot.
• Do not use the cot near any heat sources, bar heaters, open fires or exposed flames.
• Keep the cot clear of trailing cables and hanging cords.
• Do not suspend strings over the cot or attach strings to toys, as they can cause strangula-
tion.
• Keep medication, and small items that a child could choke on, away from the cot.
• The thickness of the mattress has been specified to ensure that the distance from the top
of the mattress to the lowest side will always be at least 500mm. This will reduce the risk of
children falling out of the cot.
• Portable cots with padded rim should not be used if the covering material has been torn
or bitten through.
• The bassinet (if supplied) is designed for use with children who cannot sit up unaided and
weigh no more than 9kg.
• To prevent falls, the bassinet (if supplied) should not be used once a child can sit up.
• The cot is designed for use with children who cannot climb out of the cot, weight less than
15kg.
• The maximum weight of the cild to be placed on the changing unit (if supplied) should not
exceed 9kg.
• Place the cot on a stable floor.
• Do not place more than one child in the cot or bassinet at the same time (if supplied)
• Do not move the cot while a child is in it.
• Ensure that the locking devices are fully engaged.
• Do not leave the cot outdoors exposed to direct sunlight.
• Keep children clear of the cot when opening and filding it. Otherwise they may be injured.
• Keep your fingers clear from corner joints and any moving parts when opening or folding
the cot.
• Regularly check all fasteners and tighten them when required, and maintain all fastening
devices.
• Do not use accesories other than those supplied and approved by manufacturer for use
with the product.
