TROUBLESHOOTING

Trouble
When the ignition key is turned to
"II" the engine does not start.
The engine stops during
operation.
The machine does not move
when pressing the drive pedal.
The main broom does not work.
The side brooms do not operate.
The machine collects little debris/
dust.
The filter shaker does not work.
The drive system electronic
board malfunction LED is
flashing.

SCRAPPING

Have the machine scrapped by a qualified scrapper.
Before scrapping the machine, remove and separate the following materials, which must be disposed of properly according to the
Law in force:
– Batteries
– Engine oil
– Polyester dust filter
– Main and side brooms
– Plastic hoses and components
– Electrical and electronic components (*)
(*) Refer to the nearest Nilfisk Center especially when scrapping electrical and electronic components.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Possible cause
The operator is not on the driver's seat.
The engine oil level is low.
The fuel level is low.
The fuel does not reach the carburettor.
The spark plug does not produce a spark.
The F1 fuse in the box is open.
The FR fuse is open.
The engine oil level is low.
The fuel level is low.
The parking brake is engaged.
When starting the machine with the ignition key, the
drive pedal is pressed, or the operator is not yet on
the driver's seat.
The FT fuse is open.
The FA circuit breaker is deactivated.
The main broom is not lowered.
The FB circuit breaker is deactivated.
The vacuum system is turned off.
The F4 fuse in the box is open.
The dust filter is clogged.
The hopper is full.
The skirts are not properly adjusted or are worn.
The brooms are not properly adjusted.
The F2 fuse in the box is open.
The drive system is malfunctioning.

Remedy
The operator must sit on the driver's seat.
Add engine oil. (1)
Refuel. (1)
Check the connecting hose. (1)
Clean/replace the spark plug. (1)
Replace the fuse.
Replace the fuse.
Add engine oil. (1)
Refuel. (1)
Disengage the parking brake.
Start the machine with the ignition key, only after
being on the driver's seat and without pressing the
drive pedal.
Replace the fuse.
Reset the fuse by pressing the relevant switch.
Lower the main broom.
Reset the fuse by pressing the relevant switch.
Turn on the vacuum system with the switch.
Replace the fuse.
Clean the dust filter by using the filter shaker or by
disassembling it.
Empty the hopper.
Adjust/replace the skirts.
Adjust the broom height.
Replace the fuse.
To detect the failure, refer to the Service Manual (at
any Nilfisk Service Center).
