6. Before starting the equipment
Always pull out the power plug before making
adjustments to the equipment.
Unpack the saw and check it for damage which
may have occurred in transit.
All covers and safety devices have to be properly
fitted before the machine is switched on.
It must be possible for the saw blade to run freely.
When working with wood that has been
processed before, watch out for foreign bodies
such as nails or screws, etc.
Before you actuate the On/Off switch, make sure
that the saw blade is correctly fitted and that the
machine's moving parts run smoothly.
Check that the voltage on the rating plate is the
same as your supply voltage before you connect
the machine to the power supply.
6.1 Assembly
Caution: Pull out the power plug before carrying
out any maintenance, alteration or assembly
work on the table circular saw.
6.1.1 Fitting the base frame (Fig. 3 - 5)
Turn the bench circular saw around and lay it on
the floor
The four legs (29) should be screwed to the
machine so that both legs which have 2
boreholes on the underside (29) are facing the
rear of the machine.
Next, screw the longitudinal struts (31) and the
cross struts (30) loosely to the legs (29)
Important: The longer struts must be used on the
sides.
Then screw all of the screws and nuts to the base
frame.
Screw the additional legs (35) to the rear legs
(29) so that they point towards the rear of the
machine.
Next attach the 4 rubber feet (34) to the
underside of the legs (29).
6.1.2 Assembly of the bench width extension
(Fig. A-B)
Secure the bench width extension (37) loosely to
the sawing table (1) (Fig. A) with the hexagonal
nuts (b), washers (d) and circlips (e). Important:
The bench width extensions are marked A and B.
Mount bench width extension A on the left side
and bench width extension B on the right side.
Screw the supports loosely (36) to the housing of
the bench circular saw and to the bench width
extensions (37) (Fig. B).

6.2 Saw blade guard assembly/disassembly
(Fig.6-7)
Attach saw blade guard (2) to the splitter(5).
Press the button (15) so that the retaining pin of
the saw blade guard glides into the groove (18) of
the splitter. Let go of the button (15) and check
that the saw blade cover (2) is securely fastened.
Attach the extraction hose (13) to the extractor
adapter (16) and to the extractor supports of the
saw blade table (2)
Connect a suitable vacuum extraction system to
the output of the extractor adapter (16).
To dismantle, proceed in reverse order.
Caution:
Before starting to saw, the saw blade guard (2)
must be lowered onto to the workpiece.
6.3 Replacing the table insert (Fig. 7)
If the table insert is worn or damaged, it should be
replaced, otherwise risk of injury is increased.
Removal of saw blade guard (2) (see also 6.2)
Remove the 2 countersunk screws (17)
Remove the worn table inserts (6)
Assembly of the new table inserts is to be carried
out in reverse order
6.4 Assembly/Changing of the saw blade (Fig.8)
Caution: Pull out the power plug.
Remove the table inserts by loosening the 2
countersunk screws (see 6.3)
Loosen the nuts by holding a wrench (33) on the
nut and holding up the motor shaft with a further
open-ended wrench (32). Caution: Turn the nut
in the direction in which the saw blade is turning.
Remove the outer flange and withdraw the old
saw blade diagonally from the inner flange.
Clean the blade flange thoroughly before fitting
the new blade.
Mount and fasten the new saw blade in reverse
order! Note the running direction. The cutting
angle of the teeth must point in running
direction, i.e. forwards (see the arrow on the
blade guard).
Reassemble and adjust the saw blade guard (2)
(see 6.2).
Check to make sure that all safety devices are
properly mounted and in good working condition
before you begin working with the saw again.
