Do not overtighten the valve as this may damage
the thread on the pump.
PURGE VALVE INSTALLATION
A gas purge valve is available to protect the pump
bearings against particulate and corrosive gases
that could move into the pump.
To install the gas purge valve it is necessary to un-
screw the purge port cover as shown in the follow-
ing figure,
and then screw the gas purge valve (with a torque
of 2.5 Nm) as shown in the following figure.
CAUTION
RS 485 OPTIONAL CABLE INSTALLATION
The optional RS 485 cable (969-9881) must be or-
dered when the TV 141 Navigator has to be con-
trolled by means of a remote computer.
Refer to the instructions supplied with the cable for
the connections to be made on the computer side.
The cable is installed fixing the RJ connector into
the J4 serial connector as shown in the following
figure.
