Double Damper
If you need an higher damping factor (lower vibra-
tion transmitted from pump to system) you can as-
semble the pump with a series of two single
dampers (for more information please refer to the
relevant instruction manual).
In the following table you can find the typical val-
ues of the damping factor (G) for the double
damper.

Where "axial" is the same axis as spin axis of the
rotor, and radial is perpendicular to it.
PURGE VALVE INSTALLATION
A gas purge valve is available to protect the pump
bearings against particulate and corrosive gases
that could move into the pump.
To install the gas purge valve it is necessary to
unscrew the purge port cover as shown in the
following figure,
and then screw the gas purge valve (with a torque
of 2.5 Nm) as shown in the following figure.

SERIAL CABLE INSTALLATION
The supplied serial cable must be installed when
the TV 1001 SEM or the optional vent valve have
to be controlled by means of a remote computer.
The cable is installed fixing the 9 pin D-type con-
nector into the P2 serial connector as shown in the
following figure.
