DIP switch 2-2:
OFF: Manual operation of Multiair
ON: PID operation of Multiair
To be switched ON in case the blowers output
should be controlled by an pressure transmitter.
DIP switch 2-1 should be set depending on the
transmitter type
DIP switch 2-3:
OFF: Operating signal on X3.3 and X3.4 without delay
ON: Operating signal on X3.3 and X3.4 with delay
To be switched ON in case external equipment
should be started or stopped time delayed by
one another. See the following table.
NB - In case setup with delay is chosen, "dE-"
and "LAy" is shown twice, where after the display
counts down from 6 to 1 sec. before blower and
other equipment will start.
DIP switch 2-4:
ON: When pressing the start button - the blower starts
immediately, and external equipment (like rotary
valve) starts after 10 sec.
When pressing the stop button - external equip-
ment (like rotary valve) stops immediately, and
the blower stops after 10 sec.
OFF: When pressing the start button - external equip-
ment (like cutter) starts immediately, and the
blower starts after 10 sec.
When pressing the stop button - the blower stops
immediately, and external equipment (like cutter)
stops after 10 sec.

Manual operation or automatic operation
(PID)
Select the desired operating mode using the DIP switch
2-2. In case the system is connected to flow- or pres-
sure control equipment, set the DIP switch in position
"ON: PID operation of Multiair" for automatic control
of performance in relation to an adjustable set point.
When the blower is set to PID operation, the PID indi-
cator in the display will light up (see section "Opera-
tion").
If there is no pressure transmitter connected, put DIP
switch 2-2 in position "OFF: PID operation of Multiair".
It is normally only necessary to choose between manu-
al or automatic operation, when the blower is started up
the first time, as these settings are installation specific.
Note! Automatic operation requires extra optional
equipment, for example the Kongskilde original pres-
sure control (including pressure transmitter) unit or flow
control (including differential pressure transmitter) unit.
