measures before the unit is
installed!

All of the following information and instructions are intended solely for
authorised electricians!

Installation

Leave the delivered unit in the packaging until immediately before installation to prevent any damage and contamination
during shipping and on site.

Danger to life due to electric shock!
Isolate the unit from the mains power supply and secure against being switched on again before any installa-
tion work or opening the terminal compartment!
INSTALLATION PREPARATION
– Wall mounting sleeve and facade panel
The wall mounting sleeve and facade panel must be mounted (see Fig. 4) before installing the unit. The connection cable
route and all construction or renovation work must also be complete.

INSTALLATION STEP 1:
– Unit
Pressing the fan protection grille will damage the unit!
Insert the unit on the fan casing into the wall mounting sleeve.
Insert the unit into the wall mounting sleeve until contact is made with the facade panel. Please note the marking "TOP"
on the unit (see Fig. 5 and 6).

INSTALLATION STEP 2:
– Electrical connection
m Danger to life due to electric shock!
Touching live parts will result in electric shock .
The unit and connection cable must be isolated from the mains power supply and secured against being swit-
ched on again!
1. Measure the connection cable protrusion when the unit is fully inserted and cut to length (see Fig. 7).
2. Pull the unit out to the edge of the wall mounting sleeve using the removal tool (see Fig. 8) for the electrical connec-
tion.
