CARE INSTRUCTIONS
• Before using, use a paper towel soaked in vegetable oil to apply a coat of oil to the entire
surface of the plancha. Rinse the plancha with hot water and dry. Repeating this seasoning
sequence from time to time will help protect your plancha and make it last longer.
• To protect your O'Plancha and prevent it from becoming damaged, always cook over MEDIUM
HEAT or low heat. NEVER EXCEED 2/3 OF THE POWER CAPACITY and NEVER USE THE
"BOOSTER" FEATURE on an induction cooktop.
• WARNING: prolonged exposure of O'Plancha and its accessories to high temperatures will
cause discoloration.
• Let your plancha cool for several minutes before cleaning it. For easy cleaning, your O'Plancha
is dishwasher-safe. Should any food stick to its surface, soak your plancha in warm water.
To better preserve the appearance and performance of your plancha, we recommend hand-
washing your plancha in hot soapy water. For best results, ONLY use Mastrad's stainless-steel
cleaner & polish (F62600) to deep-clean uncoated surfaces.
• Wash the lid in the dishwasher once the removable thermometer has been detached.
• The smoker racks are dishwasher safe.
• WARNING: Do not use bleach; this could render the product unusable.
