• Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) recommendation
To provide additional protection, Siemens recommends the use
of GFCI circuit breakers. Though this is not required by code,
this will provide an additional level of protection for users and
their property.
• Siemens Part numbers: QF240 (plug-in type), BF240 (bolt-
on type).
• The VersiCharge must be wired on a dedicated circuit, with no other
loads wired on that circuit.

3.2 Site Selection

• Accessibility
• Select a mounting site that is close to the charging connection of
the vehicle.
• Allow 21.5 inches minimum clearance for the connector between
the wall and anything in the area.
• The VersiCharge will mount on the surface of the wall, and a
location for installation should be chosen where there is
sufficient space to park a vehicle, walk past the device, open
nearby doors, etc., without obstruction.
