TROUBLE-SHOOTING Guide
The following phenomena may arise during normal operation. You should
check the potential causes before consulting your local distributor.
Descriptions
Doesn't switch on
Fuel odor
Slight noise is audible
Heater does not ignite
directly after extinc-
tion
Heater shuts down
Light functions abnor-
mally
Bad flame, yellow col-
or or bad odor
Burner head becomes
red.
There is a sound of
liquid flowing.
Abnormal room tem-
perature.
Causes
At ignition or extinction
The heater is probably discon-
nected
The fuel tank is badly positioned
Child lock is activated
Use of bad quality fuel
Water present in the fuel tank and
fixed tank
Power failure or power cord dis-
connected by accident
Noises owed to contracting and
decontracting metal parts
This takes 1 or 2 minutes for pre-
heating
When working
Fouling of burner group.
Electrical problem
Not enough fuel
Air filter blocked with dust
Not enough air
Bad quality fuel
Becomes red at minimum heating
power.
Fuel goes from mobile to fixed
tank.
There is no more fuel.
Temperature sensor is exposed to
direct sunlight or
Heater is situated in drafty area
Solutions
Connect it to the mains.
Replace it correctly
Deactivate child lock
Fill tank with correct fuel
Empty, clean, dry and fill with
correct fuel
Don't disconnect power cord without
shut down of heater.
This is normal
Wait a few minutes
Make a CLEANING
Disconnect and reconnect heater

Fill tank.
Clean filter
Use heater in ventilated area.
Use correct fuel.
This is normal.
Fill tank again
Position heater away from other
other heat heat sources.
Position heater away from draft.
