SELF CLEANING
Please try cleaning once every season.
•
Move heater outside. Cleaning will present unpleasant odor.
•
Remove cartridge tank and fuel strainer.
•
Empty cartridge tank and fuel tank by either removing fuel or continuously bur-
ning until heater runs dry. When it is empty, U13 will show.
•
If empty by burning, set fuel strainer and cartridge tank back in heater.
•
Plug in heater.
•
Make sure OFF/ON indicator lamp is off. If there is any error indication on dis-
play, press OFF/ON button to turn heater off.
•
Press Cleaning button for 3 seconds until short beep sound comes on.
•
C- will appear on display.
•
Press OFF/ON.
•
OFF/ON indicator lamp comes on, and C8 appears on display.
•
Let it run until display shows C0.
•
It will take approximately 2 hours to complete cleaning. The indication on
display will alter from C8 → C7 → C6 → C5 → C4 → C3 → C2 → C1 → C0
as cleaning progresses.
•
Blinking C0 means cleaning is completed. Now you may press OFF/ON to
turn heater off.
•
After cleaning, unplug the heater and store. To continue using heater, fill up
cartridge tank and install it in heater. Wait one minute or so for fuel to sink in,
then press OFF/ON button.
Attention: The cleaning will not be made if there is interruption of this one or if there
is a cut of electricity
Important: If the cleaning takes more that the planned time and exceeds the 3
hours of functioning, the device will put itself in safety. So, for a correct
procedure, it will be necessary not to forget to press the button
"extension 3 hours".
