INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
8. Remove the screw (19, Fig. F) and open the right tank
(17) outwards.
WARNING!
Open the tanks (17 and 21, Fig. F) outwards,
only if they are empty: each tank contains
253.5 lb (115 kg) of water approximately.
9. Loosen the drive system pump screw (1, Fig. N) two
turns.
10. Set the machine to working mode, by performing steps
3, 4, 5, 7 and 8 in the reverse order.
11. Tow the machine.
12. When the machine towing is completed:
– Perform steps 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8.
– Install the screw (1, Fig. N).
– Perform steps 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8 in the reverse order.

TRANSPORTING BY TRAILER

To transport the machine with a trailer, use the hooks and
anchors shown below.
WARNING!
Machine anchor must be performed by
qualified personnel.
Available hooks
1. The machine is equipped with the following hooks:
– No.1 front towing/anchor hook (1, Fig. B)
– No.1 rear anchor hook (2, Fig. B)

2. To anchor the machine in case of trailer transport,
proceed as described below:
– Set the machine to transport mode (see the
procedure in the relevant paragraph).
– Remove the ignition key (17, Fig. D).
– Engage the parking brake (7, Fig. E).
– Close all doors, panels, etc.
– Anchor the machine with the front and rear towing
hooks (1 and 2, Fig. B).
– Anchor the machine with two suitable bands (4 and
5, Fig. B), placed over the rear axle support (6), and
on the front left and right cab footboards (3)
respectively.

MACHINE STORAGE

If you foresee that the machine will not be used for more than
30 days, proceed as follows:
1. Empty the dust control system water tanks according to
the following procedure:
2. Prepare the machine, as shown in the After Machine
Use paragraph.
3. Store the machine indoor, in a clean and dry place,
protected from bad weather conditions and with the
following values:
– Temperature: 33.8°F to 122°F (+1°C to +50°C)
– Humidity: max. 95%
4. Disconnect the negative connector from the battery (18,
Fig. E).
5. Handle the diesel engine as described in the relevant
Manual.
WARNING!
When the machine is to be transported or
stored at ambient temperatures below +32°F
(0°C), check that water tanks are empty,
disassemble and drain the water filter housing.

FIRST PERIOD OF USE

After the first period of use (first 8 hours) it is necessary to
carry out the following operations:
1. Check the fastening and connecting elements for proper
tightening. Check the visible parts for integrity and leaks.
2. After the first 50 working hours, perform checks and
replacements shown in the Scheduled Maintenance
Table.
