INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM OIL LEVEL AND DRAIN
FILTER EFFICIENCY CHECK
CAUTION!
This procedure must be performed with the
hopper (12, Fig. G) completely lowered.
1.
Engage the parking brake (7, Fig. E).
2.
Start the diesel engine as described in the relevant
paragraph and run it at 1,500 rpm.
3.
Open the right panel door (16, Fig. G) by releasing the
fasteners (17) with the supplied key.
4.
Check that the needle of the efficiency indicator (1, Fig.
X) of the hydraulic system drain filter (2) is in the green
area (3), otherwise the filter (2) must be replaced (see
the procedure in the relevant paragraph).
5.
Check that there are no oil leaks in the upper area (4,
Fig. X) of the hydraulic system oil tank, otherwise the
tank breather filter (5) must be replaced (see the
procedure in the relevant paragraph).
6.
Turn off the engine, by turning the ignition key (17, Fig.
D) counterclockwise, to the end of stroke, then remove
it.
7.
Using the indicator (6, Fig. X), check that the oil level in
the tank is between the MIN and MAX marks.
8.
If necessary, remove the plug (7, Fig. X) and the filter (2),
and top up. For the types of oil to be used, see the
Technical Data chapter.
NOTE
Top up by using the same type of oil that is in
the tank.
9.
Install the filter (2, Fig. X) and tighten the plug (7).
10. Close the right panel door (16, Fig. G) by engaging the
fasteners (17) with the supplied key.

CLEANING CHECK
WARNING!
Protect body parts (eyes, hair, hands, etc.)
properly, when performing cleaning
operations using compressed air or water gun.
1.
Empty the hopper (12, Fig. G); if it contains a small
quantity of waste, it is not necessary to dump it.
2.
Drive the machine on a solid and level ground, then
engage the parking brake (7, Fig. E).
3.
Lift the hopper (12, Fig. G), according to the procedure
shown in the relevant paragraph.
4.
Turn off the engine, by turning the ignition key (17, Fig.
D) counterclockwise, to the end of stroke, then remove
it.
5.
Open the right panel door (16, Fig. G) by releasing the
fasteners (17) with the supplied key.
6.
Remove the lifted hopper locking pins (9, Fig. F) from the
housings (10), and place them into the holes (11).
7.
Clean the hydraulic system oil cooler fins (16, Fig. F)
with compressed air (max. 87.0 psi (6 Bar)). If
necessary, point the compressed air in the opposite
direction of the cooling air.
8.
Inside the radiator (16, Fig. F), check that the fan turns
freely.
9.
Perform steps from 3 to 6 in the reverse order.
