Safety

4.1

Designed Use

-
Realization of crimp connections up to a cable Ø of 50 mm² depending on the terminal design.
The maximum processing wire cross section is depending on the application (terminal and wire) with the
released adapters (see chapter 9.1).
For standard applications there are the following benchmarks (exceptions possible):
Insulated terminals 0,25 to 6,0 mm²
Non-insulated copper tube- & sheet terminals 0,5 to 16,0 mm² (one sided W and indent crimp only)
Non-insulated copper tube terminals and butt splices 1,0 to 6,0 mm² (hex crimp)
Insulated and non-insulated ferrules 0,14 to 50,0 mm²
Screw machined contacts 0,14 to 16,0 mm²
Non-insulated Faston quick disconnect 0,14 to 6,0 mm²
The pneumatic Parallel Crimp Machine AT-SC MK II is designed for usage with the adapters described in
chapter 9.1. The adapters should only be used with the dies specified by TE. It is only allowed to use the
pneumatic Crimp Machine AT-SC MK II together with the adapter and die sets for the preparation of
crimp connections!
4.2

Predictable Misuse

-
Every application which is not mentioned in chapter 4.1 „Designed Use".
4.3
