5. First use

AUTONOMOUS OPTION (WITHOUT FORK SENSOR): a simple recharge before use
is required (see page 26). Afterwards, you can switch the vest on (see page 25) and
use your airbag system. See page 28 for precautions to follow before use.
OPTION WITH FORK SENSOR: please follow the steps below.
A. Pair the fork sensor and the vest
Before using your vest for the first time, you need to pair (i.e. associate) the vest with
the fork sensor. To do so, you need your vest, the fork sensor and the magnet.
Caution: Check that the e-cartridge is properly screwed and connected to the vest.
GOOD TO KNOW:
y It is possible to pair several fork sensors with one vest (5 maximum). For example,
if you have several motorcycles, the pairing process has to be done for each
motorcycle.
y It is possible to pair as many vests as you like with one fork sensor.
To check if your vest has recognized the fork sensor, you just need to place the
magnet on the fork sensor. A short beep on the vest indicates that it is recognizing
the sensor and that the fork sensor and the vest are connected.
