Getting started

Switching-on and heating-up the machine

1. Plug the machine in to the mains. To do this, the coffee grounds drawer must first
be removed (Fig. 1).
2. The display will show the message COLD PLEASE WAIT.
3. The coffee machine is heating-up and no products can be dispensed yet.
4. Once the message READY appears, coffee can be served.
Depending on the configuration during the launch additional messages are inserted.
• If the message PLEASE RINSE MACHINE appers, press the CLEANING KEY and the
automatic rinsing begins. After successful cleaning, the machine will return to ope-
rational mode and the display will show READY.
• If the message TEA BOILER NOT READY appears, the tea/steam boiler has not yet
reached its operating temperature. Water for tea and milk/mixed products cannot
be served.
