Maintenance

Checking the mechanism
If the flow rate drops or the temperature becomes unstable, check the condition of the
mechanism.
If necessary, clean and descale the mechanism using a weak acid solution (vinegar, etc.)
and brush the filters. If the problem persists, replace the e-Cartridge.
Checking the temperature
Regularly check that the mixed water temperature matches what is shown on the control
unit screen.
Draining down in freezing temperatures
If the device is to be exposed to freezing temperatures, draining down is essential:
- by opening the low-point drain valve; or
- by opening the device.
Timer check:
Check the timer setting on the screen of the unit periodically.
The e-ULTRAMIX system does not take account of summer time/standard time.

Updating the built-in software (via the microSD card)
Updates are performed via the microSD card, and newer software versions are made
available on our website.
U pdate files must not be renamed and must retain the .hex extension.
The update can only be performed if the number is higher than that of the version
currently installed.
The product contains 2 software versions:
- The factory version
SAVE AS FACTORY
SOFTWARE
v1.16
- The operational version the control unit runs on.
The "factory" version is a stable fail-over version to be used in the event of a problem
during an update.
The factory version is saved when the system is first powered and if the microSD card
is correctly inserted in its slot.
While saving the factory version,
the screen below is displayed:
