• Do not dispose of batteries in fire, batteries may explode or leak.
• Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery
installation.
• Remove discharged batteries from the product and dispose/recycle in
compliance with all applicable laws.
• Keep batteries away from children and pets. Batteries may be harmful if
swallowed. Should a child or pet swallow a battery, seek medical assis-
tance immediately.
• If your skin or eyes come into contact with battery fluid, rinse the affected
areas with water and seek medical assistance.
• If a battery has leaked, put on protective gloves and clean the battery
compartment with a dry cloth.
• Do not use rechargeable batteries.
• Do not disassemble, open or crush the batteries.
• If you are not using the hearing amplifier, switch it off, remove the batte-
ries and store it in the storage box.
• Batteries must NOT be short-circuited.

5. To Use

Remove the hearing aid from the packaging and check that the device and
all accessories are included and not damaged.
1. Open the Battery Compartment by pushing down on
the tab and swinging the compartment away from
the body of the device.
2. Insert one alkaline type LR754 button cell battery
(included) into the Battery Compartment observing
the correct polarity as indicated at right.
3. Close the Battery Compartment and attach the desi-
red Earphone Cover to the Sound Tube of the Ear-
phone. Make sure the Volume Control is set to the
lowest setting before turning on the hearing aid.
